1. Terms
By using Colorize Old Photo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the App. The materials contained in the App are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the App or its materials;
- use the App for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained within the App;
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by us at any time. Upon terminating your use of the App, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
3. Photo Processing
How photos are processed depends on your App version:
Current Version (On-Device)
Recent versions colorize photos locally on your device using Core ML. Photos are not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for ensuring that photos you process are lawful and do not infringe others' privacy or copyright.
Older Versions (Cloud)
Older versions may upload photos to our server for colorization. You must not submit private, sensitive, or illegal content. You bear full responsibility for uploaded content. We recommend updating to the latest version for improved privacy and performance.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment, billing, and refund policies are governed by Apple. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. See Apple Media Services Terms.
5. Disclaimer
The App and its materials are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI colorization results are not guaranteed to be historically accurate or visually perfect.
Older versions depend on network connectivity and server availability. We do not warrant uninterrupted service.
6. Limitations
In no event shall we or our suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the App, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
7. Accuracy of Materials
Materials within the App could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We do not warrant that any materials are accurate, complete, or current. We may make changes at any time without notice but do not commit to updating materials.
8. Modifications
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By continuing to use the App, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these terms.
